Devcon’s Hollywood, FL-based monitoring center is a state-of-the-art facility that houses our security monitoring services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The structure exceeds Miami-Dade hurricane specifications for sustained wind resistance, and it’s virtually impenetrable to any form of human or environmental intrusion.
Our electronic platform is equally well-protected, with failsafe systems that deliver continuous, ongoing operation under all circumstances. Our Underwriters Laboratories and Factory Mutual-approved facility has been engineered with triple redundancy, so failure of a single – or even multiple – components does not hinder our ability to provide uninterrupted protection. In fact, our high-intensity UPS system is built to withstand direct lightning strikes, and our off-site backup facility guarantees continuity of data under even the most catastrophic of situations.
As exceptional as our monitoring center is, however, our staff are even more so. They’re all trained to the highest standards in the industry, which is the primary reason we are one of the few central stations to have been awarded 5-diamond status by the Central Station Alarm Association.
It’s an honor that fewer than 100 of the nation’s 2,700 central stations can claim, and it’s testimony to the knowledge and expertise of the staff that safeguards our customers day and night.
